Youth Leadership Program

The Youth Leadership Program is open to teens ages 14–18 who are interested in working in the Kamaliʻi Summer Enrichment Program. Participants take part in a week-long leadership training and orientation designed to prepare them for roles mentoring and guiding younger youth (ages 10–13) during the seven-week summer program. Each day features a combination of workshops, cultural activities, paddling sessions, peer collaboration, and leadership practice. Youth learn essential skills such as conflict resolution, planning and leading activities, cultural knowledge, and effective communication—all grounded in Hawaiian values.

This years leadership program will take place May 26th - May 28th. from 2:30pm-3:45pm & May 29th from 8:00am-3:00pm
