Hawaiian Canoe Club will be hosting the MCHCA Championship Regatta at Kahului Harbor on Saturday, July 21, 2018. The regatta is dedicated to our founders, John M & Kealoha Lake. Opening ceremony will take place at 7:45am in front of the official stand and will include presentations for the MCHCA Scholarship and the Lake Ohana Scholarship.
This 47 event regatta begins with the 10 & under manini 1/4 mile race and concludes with the Open Men’s 1 & 1/2 mile event. Two awards ceremonies will take place at the regatta fronting the old Hideaway Restaurant. The first will be after event 25 Men Nov A for all medal winners in events #1-25. The second ceremony will take place 45 min after Open Men’s race for all medal winners in events #26-47.
Plate lunch and drinks will be available for purchase throughout the day at the Hawaiian Canoe Club hale. All money made at the concessions stand will benefit our paddling opio traveling to Tahiti in 2019.

Post race festivities will take place on the lawn of Hawaiian Canoe Club hale including a potluck dinner and dancing open to all paddlers.
In an effort to malama aina and reduce waste, please bring your own utensils, plates, and cups to use throughout the day.
