    12 & under

Novice Division

    Novice B—Paddler 16 years and older who has never paddled in a sanctioned regatta or distance race.
    Novice A—1st, 2nd, or 3rd year paddler who has never paddled in a higher classification.

Open Division

    Any paddler 19 to 39 years old

Master Division

    Master 40-49
    Senior Master 50-54
    Golden Master 55-59
    Grand Master 60+
